The advanced training course for nursing students in July 201428/10/2014 14:25:18

According to the cooperative program between Duy Tan University and Ben Gurion University, Israel. With the extremely concern of the administration, an extra training course was organized in this summer to give the best condition for teachers and nursing students to approach the international educational methods.

In the July 8th evening, we were at Da Nang International Airport and welcome to Ms. Nancy Hurvitz  and Ms. Keren Levitin, two experts came from Israel_ a faraway country with 7653 km long distance.

A  Seminar on Nursing Ethics was held on July 9th, 2014 with the presence of Ms. Meirav Eilon Shahar, Israel ambassador in Viet Nam, two experts from the Ben-Gurion University. Mr. Pham Duc Muc, President of the Vietnam Nursing Association, Dr. Tran Quang Huy, Head of the Nursing Department at the Ministry of Health, Professor Nguyen Ngoc Minh, DTU Vice-Rector, Ms Nguyen Thi Quang Tri, Director of  Da Nang Nurses Association, head nurses come from  Da Nang and Quang Nam Hospitals,  teachers and students from the DTU Nursing faculty.

The training course began in July 10th to July 29th, 2014 including lessons on teaching methods for seven nursing teachers, almost sessions for nursing students about nursing ethics, fundamentals of nursing skills and practice in skills lab.

This is an advanced training approach to learning, teaching and research for DTU Faculty of Nursing students to enhance their knowledge to meet increasing national demands in the future and this course marked a initial collaboration between DTU and BGU.

Before the Closing Ceremony was organized in July 30th, all of teachers and students had a meaningful visitation in Suoi Hoa charity nursing home.
